God - A Character of Love

Q. How long has God existed? Psalms 90:2

A. “From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” God is eternal.

Q. What is an important feature about God's Character? Daniel 2:20

A. “For wisdom and might are His.” God is all powerful and all wise.

Q. How powerful is God? Daniel 2:21

A. “He removes kings and raises up kings.” He makes kings and takes away kings.

Q. How extensive is God's wisdom? Isaiah 46:10

A. “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done.” God's wisdom is great.

Q. What is an aspect of God's power? Isaiah 45:21

A. “Who has declared this from ancient time? ... Have not I, the LORD?” God is the only one who really has the ability to tell the future.

Q. How extensive is God's power? Psalms 33: 6, 9

A. “...God created the heavens and the earth.” He is the all powerful Creator.

A. “The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.” He is merciful, gracious and long-suffering.

A. “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.”

God's love for us is everlasting and he draws us to His with loving kindness.

Q. Does the earth belong to God? Psalms 24:1

A. “The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.” God owns everything.

Q. How can we see God's glory? Psalms 19:1

A. “The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.” The heavens show us God's glory.

Q. How should we react towards God and what can he do for us? Psalms 34:1-4

“I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth... I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.” We are invited to seek and praise the Lord and He will deliver us from all our fears.

Q. What is one of God's promises to us? Isaiah 41:10

A. “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” He promises to strengthen us in all our difficulties.

A. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; ... When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” God promises to see us through the bad times.
